So today I woke up SUPER early (ok, I woke up at 6:45) and got ready for my day. I had a meeting downtown for the Team Captains for this year's Heart Walk. I am really excited for this year's evnet and hope I can raise more than the $75.00 I did last year. That kinda sucked. I am the one responsible for opening up shop here at work Monday thru Friday. I generally get here around 8:30 to open at 9:00. Today I got here at 8:58 due to the meeting. At least I made it and nobody had to scramble to cover for me. We had some visitors here to get info about some stuff to do with work (trying not to be specific in the event that I need vent about things one day). This lasted a good long while. I was then able to finish my Heart Walk page and get the starter e-mails out. Then posted it on my MySpace, and now I'm here. It's break time and I'm ready to go home. Only because I'm tired as all get-out. I have to help a co-worker at 2:00 set up for an event tomorrow, which I'm not even a part of. Just goes to show what a good team player I am!
Today is also my Mom's birthday. She's 62 years young, although I'm not sure she would agree on the young part anymore. Oh well. She needs my son's SSN for her new work and I am reluctant to pass it on thru e-mail. I suppose I should really do something for her tonite but I'm low on funds. The Kid would of course kill me if ever I used the grocery money to take my Mom out. I should have just asked for some cash before he left for work. Oh well. Next time. She owes me money anyway so I think we're even on that front. I'll have The Tyke make a card too.
So, break's up and I've gotta return to work. Possible updates on the lack of adventures of my day later on.
